AFMC is one of the premier medical institute of India. It provided education to under graduate, post graduate as well as nursing students. AFMC was established in 1948. Its courses are dully affiliated to Medical council of India.
AFMC is also involved in curricular activities of the students. Some of them are sports club, adventure club, musimatics club.
AFMC Pune has various awards under its name, firstly it is accredited by NAAC as “A” category institute, its Laboratory has been assessed by National accreditation board of testing and calibration laboratories.
It currently offers MBBS, MD/MS, PG Diploma, Nursing course, Paramedical courses. Along with this it also offers super speciality courses.
Admission in AFMC pune is now done by taking NEET Exam.
Language of the Question Papers:-
(i) Candidates can opt either in English or in Hindi for the question paper.
(ii) Option of medium of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and
the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.
(iii) Candidates who will be opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates who would be opting for Hindi would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet i.e. in Hindi and in English.
(iv) In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated
as final.
The minimum required percentile can be viewed below as per the category:
For General Category the minimum percentile is 50 percentile
For SC/ST/OBC the minimum percentile is 40 percentile
For Physically handicapped the minimum percentile is 45 percentile.
