CAT Exam vs CMAT Exam

Get to know the difference between two of the India’s most important management entrance test, CMAT Exam, and CAT Exam. Both entrance exams are conducting by a separate governing body. CAT exam was first conducted in 1950 whereas CMAT has been stated recently in Feb 2012. The major differences between these two exams is that CAT Exam doesn’t have GK section whereas the CMAT Exam has general knowledge section to test the general knowledge ability of the candidates. It is interesting to know that both the exams have same marking scheme, where (-1) negative marks is deducted for every wrong answer and +4 is given for every correct answer. Another major difference is that CAT Exam is been conducted one time only whereas CMAT Exam is conducted twice a year.
