The Admission Procedure of IIMs:

The Candidates have to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) which is conducted every year. The students appearing for CAT have to fit into the eligibility criteria which states:

A candidate must hold a graduate’s degree or any other equivalent degree in any course with an aggregate of minimum 50% and above or an equal CGPA. Also, the candidates under SC/ST/PWD category should have 45% aggregate marks in their graduation degree.
If any candidate is in his/her final year of bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification degree, and the candidates whose results are still awaited, can also apply for the CAT exam.
Further, a total of the graduation marks and CAT Score, a student is called in for Personal Interview (PI), or Group Discussions followed by PI.
