1.Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA)

IIMA was established in the year 1961, and it follows the ideology of “Progress through the application of Knowledge”. The Institute is built on an area of 106 Acres, with various facilities for students like Conference Rooms, Seminar Halls, well-furnished Classrooms, Food Courts and others. The courses offered by the Institute are:

The campus has facilities of ATM, a Post Office, and the academic facilities include Computer Labs, Auditorium, Management Centre, Library, Finance lab among others.

The campus is built on a 200 Acres of land, and also, IIML has another campus of 20 Acre in Noida. The Noida campus offers 1 Year full-time MBA programme and executive education.

The faculty members are Master’s or Ph.D. degree holders who aim to impart the best academic environment to the students. On the other hand, the infrastructure is fully furnished with computing facilities, sports complex, gymnasium, hostel among others.

The Admission Procedure of IIMs:

The Candidates have to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) which is conducted every year. The students appearing for CAT have to fit into the eligibility criteria which states:

  1. A candidate must hold a graduate’s degree or any other equivalent degree in any course with an aggregate of minimum 50% and above or an equal CGPA. Also, the candidates under SC/ST/PWD category should have 45% aggregate marks in their graduation degree.
  2. If any candidate is in his/her final year of bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification degree, and the candidates whose results are still awaited, can also apply for the CAT exam.
  3. Further, a total of the graduation marks and CAT Score, a student is called in for Personal Interview (PI), or Group Discussions followed by PI.
